88mm Kwk 36 HE Shell
This Shell was used in the Tiger I Tank.
It’s not 100% accurate but I think it’s pretty close. It's not meant to be a historically accurate replica, just close. It has been designed to fit the projectile by AskaLooN over at Thingiverse.( https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3198221 )
I also used the tip with a coin slot by hi_im_sean on Printables. (https://www.printables.com/model/319438-coin-bank-slotted-top-for-88cm-shell ).
I've also created a American 75mm (https://www.printables.com/model/388504-75mmx350r-shell ) used in the Sherman and an Easy 8 and Firefly 76mm (https://www.printables.com/model/388623-76mmx583r-shell ).
There are other shell casings for an 88mm available around the usual haunts but the print times on these are enormous. So I designed this one to be considerably faster to print.
I used a Brim with most pieces to assist with bed adhesion and a Skirt on the item with a big flat bottom.
Designed in FreeCAD.
Ender 3 v2, JAYO PLA+ Copper Silk (for the casing) and LONENESSL PLA Silver Silk (for the projectile), 0.4mm nozzle, 0.2mm Layer height.
