Ice Fishing Shelter Hook

This is a simple hook that attaches to the inside of many hub-style ice fishing shelters or tents. It was created for an Eskimo FatFish 949ig, but it should fit most hub-style shelters. I believe Eskimo poles are 11mm in diameter. I don't own an Otter or Clam shelter, but I would guess they are similar. If you use this, please let me know if other sizes should be made.

The Fusion 360 file is included with a user parameter for the RodDiameter if you want to make tweaks. I'm happy to make custom sizes upon request, however. Just let me know in the comments.

It is designed so that it can be quickly installed on or removed from any interior pole in any orientation (vertical or horizontal). I find it handy for hanging items such as jackets, gloves, hats, lights, etc.

Printing

Probably best printed with PETG for flexibility/durability, but the prototypes were printed in PLA and are being actively used.

It can be printed without supports. Just place the largest flat side of the hook down on the print bed.

I've had luck with the following print settings, but feel free to experiment (and post a Make and/or Comment if you have feedback):

• Layer Height: 0.15mm
• Infill: 15%
• Infill Type: Gyroid
• Supports: None
• Brim: None
• Skirt: None (0 loops)
