I liked this design and it adds a QOL life to an already robust and capable printer.
However when testing the original design I found that the square nut wiggled too much for my liking and I worried that vibrations would cause the tensioning system to undo itself overtime. Also, after dealing with the effects of a MK3S with a nylock that bounced in and out of its cavity, I didn't want my KP3S to suffer the same fate.
This remix allows you to secure a M3 Nylock instead. I haven't tested tolerances but it should be a tight fit. Remember when installing use a m3 screw to pull the nut into the cavity.
You will probably want a longer screw, the stock m3x16 one should work just fine.
Prints without support, use PETG ideally or ABS/ASA if you can swing it.
0.2mm layer height, 3-5 walls, 4-5 top/bottom layers, and 20-25% gyroid infill should be plenty for this part.
