A simple method for making air wound inductors.

This is a way to easily make air wound inductors for home made antennas or other electronic gear.  It uses a 3D printed coil form and 3D printed strips to hold the turns of wire in place.  The model was created in OpenSCAD and is parametric to allow adjusting coil length, diameter, wire size, number of turns, and turns-per-inch.  I printed the example using black PETG for better weather resistance for an amateur radio antenna, but I see no reason why it couldn't be sliced for PLA or other materials.  A descriptive YouTube video can be found at
