The Ebihara Plate is designed to be screwed onto the bottom of your future bonsai's trunk. As the roots grow outwards, the fins will help guide them to a more desired position. 

I suggest printing all using PETG for more reliability, rigidity, and strength.

The root hook will need support to print. If you use PETG its easier to sand the rough surface above supports.

Root hook should have at least 50% infill.
