Thought I'd try my hand and building a dual-extruder setup for my 300x300 NEMA23 cartesian 3D-Printer I built. I currently have it setup as a 1.75mm and 2.85mm so I can use both sizes of filament.

The base mounts to a standard 50x50mm carriage plate with (1)M5x10mm machine screw. The E3D-style radiators snap into the base and are held in by the cover.

The cover is fastened to the carriage plate, through the base, with a M5x40mm machine screw. I'm using a 40mm, with a few washers on the front because its a bit to long, but it's what I had in my parts bin;)

The hot-end cooling fan is a 30mm, attached with 12mm-ish coarse thread (wood?) screws threaded directly into the cover.

Part fan funnels are fastened to the base with M3x10 machine screws paired with lock nuts.

Part fans are 40mm and fastened to funnels with M3 machine screws threaded directly into the funnels.

Print the part fan funnels with one of them mirrored.

The part fan brace attaches between the funnels for stability.

Print the base with supports for the part fan attach slides and bottom radiator openings. Cover and brace do not need supports.

All in all its not fancy, but it gets the job done and has served me well since I put it together over a year ago.

NOTE: The part fan funnels are not my design. They can be found at…
