I designed a base plate for the Tintin Moon Rocket by Muth, found here https://www.printables.com/model/163971-moon-rocket

The original model states that you put a LED at the top of the smoke cloud powered by a USB cable. However I didn't like the fact that the led needed to be plugged into a USB port/charger.

I came up with a design for a base plate which houses a Lithium Polymer battery, a charging module with an USB-C port and a little switch to turn the led on and off.

The measurements of the base plate is based of off scaling the original model 700%.

1x 2000mAh LiPo battery (make sure that it has a pcb to protect from over(dis)charging)
2x wago clips to connect everything together (these clip into the underside of the baseplate)
1x 10ohm resistor
1x kcd11 rocker switch
2m white/light grey silicone cable (24AWG)
1x 3W LED 3V (warm white) with a \u00d820mm aluminium heatsink
1x DFRobot DFR0668 LiPo battery charger
6x Ferrules for 24AWG wire
3x Rubber/silicone anti slip feet (\u00d88.5mm)
2x M2x6 screw
Shrink tube to capsulate resistor

You will need to solder the resistor in series with the LED to drop down the amps & voltage of the battery.

With a 2000mAh battery, the led should be able to be lit up for ~28h30min.
Charging takes 4h from empty to completely full, there is a little hole in the base plate for the led on the charging board to tell you the status of the charging cycle. (led on = charging, off = battery full)

For a better lighting effect, you should spray paint the inside of the LED MOUNT white.
The hole might need to be enlarged for the wires to fit through.

I glued the centering sleeve (which has a slot for the wires coming from the LED to go through) as well as the rotation block to align the smoke cloud on the base plate.
You can use double sided tape to fix the smoke cloud onto the base plate.

*Upon request to be able print this on a Prusa mk3s, I sized down the base plate to a outer diameter of 210mm. Also the BASE PLATE-battery box_cover on the underside is different than the original BASE PLATE-battery box.
