After seeing a lot of cake topper models being uploaded after the author just changed the text, I challenged myself to create an OpenSCAD model that could be customized for any occasion.

Each line of text is slightly thicker than the line below it so that the text is still readable even if it overlaps. You can also take advantage of this and do a color change for each row of text! I highly recommend at least doing a color change on the first layer that is printing only your message. Starting with clear/transparent filament is also a good choice.
There are numerous values to set in the top of the scode to get it to look just the way you want. If you use a lower case i or j in your text, make sure to set the text line spacing vertical values so the dot is touching the bar above. Also make sure that you set the text line widths to where all letters are connected. All values are documented in the scode.
