Decorative Steel Ball Holder (parametric, with source)
Wife bought some decorative spheres and asked for a holder to put them on the rack. Here's my overengineered solution ;)

PDFas always: OpenSCAD source for download. Please remix
Three parameters in the source:
- ball_d=90; // the ball diameter - get this from measuring the existing ball/sphere
- base_d=30; // the diameter of the base - smaller is nicer but also more instable
- base_z=10; // the height of the base disc
The .stl in the files is exactly the one above: a 30mm base for a 90mm sphere.
