Nalgene 32 Oz Car Cup Holder with Improved Overhangs

This car cup holder is ideal for large Nalgene 32 oz water bottles. It should fit most “standard” cup holders in vehicles. I tried several designs, and many of them were too fragile and broke easily. This one really holds up!

I remixed this from a design on Thingiverse. I liked the original design but the overhang where the cup expands were a bit to steep, so printing was a problem. I added a more gradual overhang that makes this a simple print and also made it a little taller, but it should still fit in the cup holder to make sure it had the same clearance as the original. Thanks to "User366364" on Thingiverse for the original model.

I recommend printing this in ASA or ABS if you are going to be leaving it in a vehicle, so it can withstand higher temps. An infill of 25-30% is also a good idea, and at least 5 perimiters/walls.
