Deer Skull Mount

I made this mount to hang a deer skull on the wall. It can be used as-is or modified for hanging any other heavy item that requires a strong hook.

It is split down the middle for two reasons.

1. It allows you to print it with the layer-orientation in the most optimal direction for strength with no supports.
2. Due to there being two pieces, the centerline of the peg has the solid cross-sectional thickness of 2x your perimeter settings. I glued the two halves together with CA glue.

The OpenSCAD code is included and it is fully parametric.

I printed mine with eSUN PLA+ with a 0.4mm nozzle and 0.10mm layers. I think it was printed with 6 perimeters and 10% rectilinear infill, but I suggest you go with as many perimeters as you think you can get away with without any warping.
