Description

PDF

This die is what I use to calibrate my printer and get something useful out of the calibration.

The die should be 30mmx30mmx30mm exactly.

The material displaced by each sides holes has the same volum, as the total area is the same. Each side has its circle area derived from this function: r = sqrt(Atot/(T*pi)).

r = radius, Atot = is total area, T = holes on the side.

Print Settings

Rafts:

No

Supports:

No

Notes:

No infill, and use what ever support that is needed to make it correct. Some printers have a problem with the flat top, so some support inside can help. I usually place the 1 on top and support the sides.
