I decided I needed to re-learn 3d modeling (It's been [mumble mumble] years now), so my first project was to model a new organizing tray for my nightstand.
I modeled a simple tray with a cutout sized for a Samsung Convertable Qi charger, and a cutout for random pocket stuff (flashlight, pocket knife, etc.) and a arm/tree to hold the aftermarket Garmin puck type charger for my Fenix 7.
This is just version 1. I will be redesigning the watch charger arm, and will optimize for faster printing. I will update as I go.
My first draft attempt is still on the printer. Ender 3 Pro, Inland PLA (black), .4 nozzle, .4 layers, 10 percent lightning infill. I'll post pics after it's done, as long as it isn't a total disaster.
As it's my first model, and it's pretty specific to my EDC/use-case… please feel free to bend it, twist it, reshape it… just drop my name and a link or something.
The author marked this model as their own original creation.
