Nice design but sadly to loose

Center piece is too small, I'll try to print it with 101 % (edited)

this is my small wall for 3d Printer accesseries

Center piece doesnt fit (edited)

Still trying to come up with some great shape to make, I have plenty of spool halves to play with. (edited)

Great re-use of my prusament spools!
Did a triangle version of prusa-connect to get a nice look besides my MK4 with an additional possibility to hang some tools there to have them right at hand.
Unfortunately the center circle is way to small, had to use some adhesive pads to make them stay. Won't take much load, but look nice.
Attached the whole thing with two self made clamps for the square rails on the side. The clamps are merged with the support part, so they fit in the corner parts.

I really liked the idea and wanted to make a pegboard out of my old spools, so I printed a lot of joints, the inner circles and supports.
I wanted to put the supports on the inner circles, but the circles are kind of loose they don't have the press-fit as the joints do so I'm not sure how to mount everything to the wall as the spools will likely fall off because the circles are loose.

Was that intended or did I miss something? (edited)

@Acho3D If I do that the supports would be loose since the hexagons also get bigger. I'd need to make the outer rim bigger but your Fusion 360 file doesn't seem to have any sketches which makes editing them a bit tricky...
I just measured a printed circle and it has a diameter of 50.7mm and the inner hole on the spool has a diameter of 51.0mm. The STL shows 50.78mm in Prusa Slicer.

I also don't want to throw away the ones I already printed. So I guess I'll try to print a ring to fill the gap or rather print a 0.2mm strip and bend it around the circle.

I made a simple 157x5x0.3 mm strip with Prusa Slicer by using a box shape which I glued onto the circle and now it fits very tightly into the spool!
It's not the best fix, but printing 8 strips in 15 minutes compared to 8 new circles with a print time of almost 9 hours, practically wasting the material of the old circles, is a good tradeoff.

It was a bit tricky to get the ring to stay on the circle, it needs to be glued on properly but after that it works. Of course I could have just glued the circle into the spool, but with this hack I can technically use the spools again if I decide to re-use them for another project in the future. (edited)
