The Turbinator v3.0 - my entry into Major Hardware's Fan Show Down S5

My entry into Major Hardware's Fan Show Down S5. I’ve redesigned basically everything except the “base-plate”. 

I thought it’d be fun to make a new version for MH's new testing rig. This version is using a NASA inspired Low Speed Centrifugal Compressor designed to operate @ around 2k RPM. 

Turns out the design moves a ton of air and makes even better turbo noises.
