These are simple mounting tabs that can be used to mount posters, pictures, or anything else that is flat to a wall. The goal was to not have to use a frame, not damage your piece of art, keep them as unobtrusive as possible, and support a range of different object thicknesses. The only additional requirement are small finishing/picture mounting nails used to secure them to the wall. You would typically print 4 of these per object to hang, 2 for the top and 2 for the bottom, but can use more (or less!) if necessary.
They are designed with a small offset and some flexibility so that they “grab” onto your object, pinning it to the wall. The bottom of the mounts are flat so that you can more easily level your item. They will securely mount anything from 0mm (If you have something this thin, send pics) up to ~3-4mm thick.
I can make bigger ones at some point if there is interest. Scaling the model will not work due to the maximum thickness required to maintain the mount's ideal flexibility/strength (which I've found to be 3 layers for PLA @ .20mm layer height).
The author marked this model as their own original creation.
