Tetracairo Puzzle

The Puzzle

Tetracairos consist of 4 connected pentagons, each with two right inner angles. These pentagons are suitable for tiling (they cover the plane without gaps and overlaps). There are 17 tetracairos. Since there are no symmetrical shapes from all 17 tiles, the puzzle consists of 16 puzzle pieces. The tetracairo_17 is not needed for the puzzle.

The puzzle pieces are used on both sides.

There are many different shapes for the Tetracairo puzzle. Although the puzzle has 1876 different solutions (not counting symmetrical solutions), it is not so easy to solve.

3D Printing Tips

I printed the puzzle with the following settings:

• Material: PLA

• Resolution: 0.2mm

• Infill: 20%

• no supports

• no raft, no brim
