From worms to dragons, the next step in the evolution of 3D model design

 

Following this tutorial, my 15-year son has created his own “Fire Dragon”.

 

Should you wish to design and create your own dragon, this tutorial is must-see!

It goes into so much detail and every point in the design process is very well described,

 

The tutorial was followed using Blender v2.93.

 

As with previous articulated models it took a number of short test prints to understand how to best to position the segments into a curve.

 

The final model was printed in PETG for no reason other than the colour and using 0.15 mm layer height. 

Remakes in PLA or other material would be very much appreciated.

 

There is another version of the dragon with the scales on the back pointing in the opposite direction. If you would like this other version uploaded here, please let me know.
