Z-Axis Bracket Upgrade SV06

Essential upgrade to the stock mounts, much stiffer and more stable. Not too difficult to assemble either, heated inserts went in with no difficulty at all due to the excellent design of the guide holes.

These printed out quickly and are very stout compared to sovols mounts. I have not installed them yet because I am waiting til I have to do maintenance on the printer but they look like they should work for their purpose just fine.

How have your brackets held up since printing them? The z-steppers generate a lot of heat so warping of the brackets is a concern.

Also, the description says 4 heat set nuts, but I think it should read 4 per side.

Printed tonight in PETG. I had a lot of stringing so will need to clean that up before I mount them. Thanks for the model! Initially thought I would have to re-print because the ears create such a tight fit, but then saw that all my screw holes were perfectly aligned so a little oomph and it clicked into place snug and tight. What settings did you use for this? I'm assuming a pretty high level of infill? Also, what filament type, PETG? (edited)
