PDF

Simple jig for PTFE tube cutting (4mm OD), having:

  • 60° (30), 90° (45) and 120° (60) degree chamfer tool (works like pencil sharpener)
  • Length of 13, 15, 19, 35.3, 38.8, 42.3, 43.4, 44.2, 50 and 66mm cutting tool

Needed tools:

  • Sharp blade knife for cutting (9mm blade)
  • Center drill for an easy way to make 60° degree inside chamfer (eBay Search for Center Drill) - Or a regular 4mm drill as an alternative

Post processing may be necessary, depending on the filament and the printer used to print the jig. To clean the PTFE tube holes a 4mm drill is needed - remove the dents from the holes by hand with the drill bit, power tool should not be needed.
The knife slot in the length cutting jig can be cleaned out with the back side of the knife (9mm blade).

See photos for usage.

Print instructions

Shown models is printed in Devil Design PETG Black and Gray.

Post-Printing

The 60°/90°/120° degree chamfer tool may need to have the hole cleaned with a 4mm drill/reamer as it has to be a tight fit to work properly.
