Soap Bar Saver/Holder

This is a place to put your soap bar. It drains out all excess liquids through a grate which sits above a reservoir. The reservoir has a drain on the side which directs the liquids into the sink/bath. This not only keeps the soap looking fresh, but it also prolongs its life, allowing the soap to last longer because it is never sitting in water. 

After printing, simply glue the drain onto the reservoir as it is shown in the pictures. (Use Superglue/CA Glue if possible; other glues may lose their grip with water running over them.)

This is a simple 3 piece model with no supports needed for printing. Make sure to print with at least 3 perimeter/bottom/top layers in order to prevent water from leaking into the parts. 

Remember, printing at high detail settings or with thin layer heights will increase the probability of the parts leaking. If possible, use at least a 0.6mm nozzle with 0.3mm layer height. Higher nozzle diameter and layer height wouldn't hurt, though.

Try printing the grate with a different color than the base and drain to add a bit of personality!
