This print is my attempt to address Lossnay VL-100 heat recovery unit's design flaw which leaves part of the front panel open when the ventilation has been directed frontwards.
It also improves aerodynamic of the device by pivoting the direction of air flow gently forward with a slope rather than forcing it through a 90-degree corner.
Noise tests were made with a mobile app so they are not accurate but some drop in noise is clearly noticeable:
Without cover With cover
Max 45.3 dB 43.6 dB
Avg 40.9 dB 40.1 dB
Min 37.5 dB 36.8 dB
Two versions: one which is split and another one for full body. The split version can be printed with Prusa Mini. Only the smaller holes and the bottom needs (snug) support when the parts are upright.
The author marked this model as their own original creation.
