Works really well

Works really well at least with 6 & 8 millimeter magnets.

I’m a baker by trade and my burnt and callused fingertips don’t grasp small magnets well. This comes in pretty handy!

4mm model works great with 5mm magnets too. Very recommended

Could you make a version for 4-5 mm magnets? The 6mm version is still too big.

@goTVm I've added it. Please add a pic of your make w/ 5 stars if it works. I don't have any 4mm magnets to test. If it needs improvement please let me know.

Easy to print and super useful, thank you!

Love it 👍🏽

Printed as a test object on a kit built machine and it worked perfectly.

I finally got around to printing a 75% version of this model and I can confirm that picking up 6 mm magnets is now possible.

I would, however, **love** to see a model specifically designed for the popular 6 x 3 mm magnets. The square part of the model that picks up the magnets is, when scaled down to 75% not deep enough to securely grab onto a 3mm high magnet. And the way it is oriented in the model doesn't allow me to selectively resize one dimension less, to give it more depth. (edited)

@fuchsr I added a model specifically designed for 6mm. Basically it's a 75% version of the original with 1/2mm depth added to the magnet recess. I'm going to print it now just to be sure it works as advertised.

@fuchsr I printed it, it wasn't great. Made some changes and I'm printing it again now. Should be good now though. File updated.

Works fine, if you have magnets large enough. It works quite well for some of my magnets but ost of my magnets are 6 x 3 mm so no dice. I am not sure if downscaling works, with the tolerances for the "spring" part of the model.

Scaling the model 75% will work perfectly to handle 6mm magnets.

Great, will give it a try!
