This is a remix from the offroad trailer from henke_99 on Thingyverse and a horse trailer from LULU3DBUILDER on cults.

I put all together in tinkercad.

I contacted the license owner on cults, and he agreed to change the license. I added all needed parts of the 1:24 box and scaled them to fit the 1:10 subframe by henke_99 https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4701854. If you want all decals or his subframe, feel free to buy his complete design at: https://cults3d.com/en/3d-model/gadget/mini-micro-crawler-axial-scx24-horse-van-trailer

I am happy that this hobby is possible with so many ways of adapting things together!

For the subframe I could not source the 5x13x5 bearings, so I went with 6x13x5 and drilled the wheels a bit out. I took “usual” 1.9" crawler wheels from a local hobby shop.

For screws and nuts, I went with a bag of M3x25mm and a few M3x45. For mounting the wheels I choose M6x55 that I could source.

I printed the feather springs out of PA6-CF for more spring force. The trailer wieghts just about 1650g with no load in it. The springs sag quite a bit after an hour or so, so there may be need to be added more springs…  The rest is printed from ABS on my Voron 2.4r2 350mm. But I think you can get away just close with a 250mm printer.

I glued the front and back parts together with acetone (melts ABS) and a cotton swab.

The tow hitch is mounted so that it can rotate and held down by 2 M3 nuts and superglue.

Some nuts are fixed with lock tight, you may want use nylon lock nuts instead.

EDIT:

I upgraded the suspension with 55mm ABSIMA oil shocks (AS2330040). They are about 16€ a pair. It can easily hold the weight of the trailer and a 1230g load (about two horses) now.

I leave the springs in the STL collection, but I suggest you also try the shocks suspension, I name the needed STL files for that -Suspension-V2.

After that I designed a jockey wheel to keep it level with no truck attached. For that to work, I also modified the front axle with some holes so lock the wheel in 0° and 90°.
