I made this to prepare snacks for a Christmas party, having a couple of sheets of butter puff pastry left over. There are three sizes here so if you want small then use the two smaller sizes or for larger, use the two larger sizes. You need to make an oval for the base and then add a ring to it (cut the same oval then use the smaller cutter inside it) so that the center is hollow when the pair are baked together. MUCH easier to move the pastry around when very cold or frozen. Later filling is added and they are served hot. I used crab with cheese, chives and sour cream, they were all eaten. Paying more for puff pastry made with real butter is definitely recommended.
Sorry not to include a photo of the actual item but I did not think to get a picture before they were all eaten. There was an actual pastry chef at the party and he did not find fault so either was very polite or this is worth doing!
The final piece with six legs will help you cover the plate with plastic wrap and get them to your party without the wrap sticking to the food. Better to fill them right before warming though.
They are a quick print, good thing because you probably do not want to reuse them - throw the used pieces away after one use as food does get stuck between layers in printed items.
