This part replaces the upper black plastic deck that sits above the extruders on a common MK10 Dual Extrusion printhead design found on FlashForge, PowerSpec, Wanhao, .... The purpose: To provide a strain relief for the wire loom coming out off the printhead and more importantly to prevent the stiff brittle thermocouple wires they use in so many of these printers from flexing to much at a sharp angle at the edge of the stock black plate. These wires can not be fixed once they brake and the entire thermocouple has to be replaced and re-routed through the long loom. (I may have made it 2 weeks of constant printing before the thermocouples broke on 1 head, followed by the other. Since I designed and installed this, I have had no issues (knock on plastic)).

There are several other versions of this already designed and uploaded but each of those seemed to be tweaked for the dimensions related to other mods the designer was already performing on their printers. This design is pour to the stock OEM dimensions for where the filament enters the stepper and where the screw holes align. I also provide an extra tall shoulder for the feed tubes to sit in so they are less likely to kick out and hang (not really an issue but keeps things where they belong). I suggest printing in PETg or even ABS but not PLA since this is in the hottest general area of the printer; plus the steppers themselves can get pretty hot and PLAs softening temperature is pretty low (you may be fine, give it a try).
