MK3 Stealthburner V0.5

This is my Stealthburner case mod for the original mk3s+ extruder. Note that this is only a design upgrade and the upper ‘fan’ is actually a extruder visualizer (I may also do a version with an active fan in the future). Also note that this is an inofficial mod so it‘s not related to prusa or voron directly. Installation (without LEDs) will only take a few minutes and all printable parts won't need any supports.

A few things are still needed to be optimized but it's already fully functional. I also tested the new shroud with it's overhang performance and I couldn't see a difference to the original shroud.

You will need a few extra hex and t nuts and need to replace a few screws with a longer variant for this upgrade. You can use them from the spare bag that came with the kit.

Additional hardware needed

Installation
  1. Print all parts. They're already correctly orientated and won't need any supports. May clean them up after print though.
  2. Remove the print fan, the old fan shroud, fan support and extruder cover.
  3. Prepare the new printed parts as shown in the picture.
  4. Install the new extruder cover.
  5. Now install the fan shroud first and then the print fan support.
  6. Reinstall the fan. There's a dedicated path to run the wire at the side. Note that you will only use the bottom right screw here, the fan will also be held in place by the Stealthburner cover. Also install the extruder visualizer (may use the shim if your magnet isn't thick enough.)
  7. Now install the stealthburner cover. You may need longer screws for the extruder fan and a M3x10 screw on the right side.

Additional lighting

You may want to add an additional LED for the MK3 Logo. Note that the LED mod still needs a few improvements. If you want to use an LED you should also print the ‘optional_LED_logo_cover’. I advise to print it in white. Use a bit of glue to apply it (there's an alignment helper on the right. Also use a bit of hot glue to fixate the LED.

All parts are labeled with a version number so you can easily detect any future changes! Also let me know if you have any suggestions!
