A battery storage tray to hold three C batteries in ZackFreedman's Gridfinity organization system.
I needed a place to store C batteries that could also hold AA-to-C converters (shown in the picture) – the converters require a tiny bit bigger cavity than a standard C battery. Rather than printing something for the standard battery size and drilling it out, I thought I'd try designing one for it and wanted to share it with the community in case it saves anyone else the trouble.
Since these can't be stacked with batteries in them, there's no lip on the top to reduce print time and material. Also, my baseplate doesn't have magnets, so there are no magnet holes on the underside of the model.
If you download a gcode file, make sure you choose the right one for your printer – one is for use with a 0.4mm nozzle, the other is for use with a 0.6mm nozzle.
