A geometric lampshade I made for cmmn.world. The lampshade fits over a harp and is made by clipping together faces so the result is quite large (~360cm wide and 290cm tall) and has a nice surface finish as all external faces are bed down.

It was printed with white eSun PLA on a 4mm nozzle with 15mm layer height.

In order to construct the lamp you will need this many of each object:

Pentagon10
Pentagon with hole1
Hexagon15
Half Hexagon5
Clips (3 per edge)240

In total it took me a little over 600g of filament and 70 hours to print on my mk3s.

As well as the 5 stl files there is a 3mf file that contains the settings I used for each object. The faces are printed with 0 top and bottom layers + 6 perimeters so the infill pattern shows but the clips hold securely. While the clip is printed with extra perimeters so it's solid. Out of the infills I tested gyriod looks the best!

This should be adaptable to other lamps by changing the top piece to fit whatever other fitting your lamp has. It's solid enough to either hang off a harp as in the picture or support itself upside down.

If you have any questions about construction or fit please drop a comment - I would love to see another make of this!

The pieces were made in openscad - the code is quite messy at the moment but if there's interest I can clean up and share.
