I really recommend printing this gearbox, it is really quiet and easy to assemble. If you're looking for a good gearbox, this is a very good option.

Really cool and good design, thanks, there is Just a little bit more space between te gears and the walls then i would like, zo i have resulted in using 9 gears (edited)
Changed nothing to the model and works really perfect. I'm curious what the ratio of this gearbox is
@DBos_1897611 The overall gear ratio is dependent upon the individual gear ratio of each mesh and the total number of meshes. Since all the gears are identical, each mesh has a gear ratio of 4:1 (60 tooth gear meshed with 15 tooth gear).
With 7 gears, as you have printed, there are 6 meshes. Therefore, the overall gear ratio is 4^6:1, or 4096:1.
Might have missed something in the description, but gear center could print a bit smoother. Cool design anyway
Printed easily. Used PETG for the rods and gears. PLA for the housing to make the supports easier to remove. Agree with the other commentator that a little more height in the housing would prevent the gears from rubbing against it at speed.
Edit: Without any oil or anything this thing runs smoothly and relatively quietly. (edited)
Lot of fun. The housing could be a little taller so the gears don't scrap when the get going.
