KeyChain Screwdriver - Pocket Sized screwdriver for adjustments on the go
Summary:
Designed this to complement my other keychain tools. This allows you to take the 4mm hex driver bits and conveniently carry them around.
Materials List:
X # of bits you want to use
Bits need to be 4mm wide and apx 20mm long (hex shaft)
PLA (Could use other filaments)
Glue; super glue or something else
Pliers
Paper Towels
PLA Print Settings (Prusa Slicer):
0.20 mm Quality - Layer Height
2 Perimeters
Generic PLA
Supports: None
Infill 15% - Gyriod
First layer speed 15mm/s
Notes:
I printed these one at a time. While printing multiple, I think the cooling fan knocked one over. Had good luck printing one at a time - did 8 in a row.
You need to have good bed adhesion before printing. I guess you could set a brim if it falls over.
Print time on a Prusa Mini+ was 10min
When shoving the bit in after applying the glue; you might have to push it in and pull it out a few times. Eventually it will go in and some excess glue will come out. Just be prepared to wipe that away.
