KeyChain Screwdriver - Pocket Sized screwdriver for adjustments on the go

Summary:

Designed this to complement my other keychain tools.  This allows you to take the 4mm hex driver bits and conveniently carry them around.

Materials List:

  • X # of bits you want to use
    • Bits need to be 4mm wide and apx 20mm long (hex shaft)
  • PLA (Could use other filaments)
  • Glue; super glue or something else
  • Pliers
  • Paper Towels

PLA Print Settings (Prusa Slicer):

  • 0.20 mm Quality - Layer Height
  • 2 Perimeters
  • Generic PLA
  • Supports: None
  • Infill 15% - Gyriod
  • First layer speed 15mm/s

Notes:

  • I printed these one at a time. While printing multiple, I think the cooling fan knocked one over. Had good luck printing one at a time - did 8 in a row.
  • You need to have good bed adhesion before printing.  I guess you could set a brim if it falls over.
  • Print time on a Prusa Mini+ was 10min
  • When shoving the bit in after applying the glue; you might have to push it in and pull it out a few times. Eventually it will go in and some excess glue will come out.  Just be prepared to wipe that away.
