I made this because I don't care about knowing the angle within 5 degrees that my overhangs start to fail. What I need to know is what temperature and slicer settings are going to be best to get my desired result on a more granular level. I included two models (one with permanent supports for more rigid prints and one floating for more demanding tuning). The supports are unattached initially, so that helps to check for stringing as well. If you are printing for cosmetic appeal, these smooth overhang tests are going to be far more useful to you than the ones with numbers on them. The tongue shape with the overhanging “belly” really shows off the flaws.
The author marked this model as their own original creation.
