DIY filament dryer based on ECG SO 375 food dehydrator.

There are two options for PTFE bowden tube mount:

  • bowden-mount_lid.stl - not very convenient
  • bowden-mount_base.stl - recommended, much better

You will need

  1. ECG SO 375 food dehydrator
  2. Lamart LT6036 cake box
  3. 51208 thrust ball bearing (inner diameter 40 mm, outer diameter 68 mm, height 19 mm)
  4. 1/8" pneumatic fitting
  5. PTFE bowden tube (standard 4/2 mm)
  6. 4× M3x8 screw + 4× M3 nut (when using bowden-mount_lid.stl)

Print and assembly instructions

  • use PETG for better heat resistance
  • print 4-6 pcs of wall-adapter.stl
  • drill a few holes in the top of the lid (two is enough)
  • cut a hole in the lid for the bowden mount, 17 mm wide and 11 mm deep (when using bowden-mount_base.stl)

PS

If you have this filament guide, you can use my bowden adapter for the other end of the PTFE tube, or this bowden clip for Prusa MK3S.
