Puzzle Cube / Christmas Tree Ornament

This ornament was an impossible challenge to assemble for a very smart retired U S Government foreign service employee.  To my original design, I added holes for 6 x 3 mm magnets and mating 3 mm bolts so the pieces stay together.  

I used UV-activated glue to retain the magnets in the holes.  

With the new Prusa slicer, it’s easy to change colors during the print. 

Amazon offers 6 mm x 3 mm magnets at $8 for 100  pieces. 

If you want to hang it as a Christmas tree ornament, drill a hole down the center.  I put the two pieces in a vice to secure them when drilling.
