UPDATE:
2.1v has "bump" on the end of the "claw" removed, to aid in better results, and un-supported printing. I've been printing these with a skit with decent success. Any modifications or suggestions, please comment, I will review all comments.
Original description follows,
In these difficult and uncertain times, being conscience of how we handle public surfaces is critical. This is a design for a claw, to allow one to open most pull/levers and car door, maintain a grip on shopping carts, and carry bags, or anything else you need to touch.
Recommended to put compacitive material (touch sensitive) on the tip, to allow public touch screens to be used.
Designed to be able to be printed without support or good quality printers. Print flat, and with the largest nozzle you wish, shouldn't make too much of difference. I haven't yet made one. But would love to see some pics if successful prints are created. The more solid the infill, the stronger, though 30% should be sufficient for most uses. Can have the "dirty" end cleaned/disinfected after daily use, to be reused over and over.
Designed as right handed, mirror for left-handed.
This was designed in inches, may need scaling (2450%)
I will check frequently to provide support and revisions as needed with your input!
Please spread this and share it and remix it.
I encourage this idea to be as accessible as possible.
Stay safe out there!!!!
