Kadomatsu and Kagamimochi

I designed a model Kadomatsu and Kagamimochi for new years this year.

General printer settings:

• 0,2mm layer height
• All parts made of PLA

Build/print instructions:

Kadomatsu:

Basket

• Brown/beige -ish colour
• Print 2 times

Ring small

• Black colour
• Print 2 times

Ring Large

• Black colour
• Print 2 times

Bamboo

• Green colour
• Print 2 times

Insert

• Brown/beige -ish colour
• Print 6 times

To assemble:

Push the large ring over the basket first followed by the small ring

Press the bamboo on top of the basket.

Push the inserts into the bamboo

Make a fan out of origami paper and place it in front. (use the slot in the basket if the paper is not too thick)

Kagamimochi:

Stand

• Brown/beige -ish colour
• Print 1 time
• Print upside down with supports anabled

Mochi

• White colour
• Print 1 time

Mikan

• White or Orange colour
• Print 1 time
• If printed in white use an orange sharpie to colour it 

To assemble:

Cut a piece of origami paper to the required size (about same size of the box), and make a hole in the middle

Place it in the box with the hole over the peg

Push the mochi on the box, clamping the paper between the mochi and the box

Push the mikan on top of the mochi, if the fit is too tight open the hole up the the tip of your pliers until you get a nice fit.
