Designed this Gridfinity tray to store the four knife handles I have as well as extra blades held on a .5 inch X .062 magnetic strip. Space on either side of the magnet strip is angled to allow you to push a blade down from either end for easy retrieval.
Two STL versions are available: One with the Gridfinity standard magnet pocket diameter of 6.5mm, and one with pockets sized for press fitting 6 x 2 mm disc magnets (magnets not required). The stand is completely stable without magnets both in the gridfinity grid as well as stand alone on a benchtop.
The attached F3D file is parameter driven, allowing one to adjust the opening diameter of each of the four handle holders, as well as the magnet strip length and depth. Current settings are for the above dimension strip, with the top of the strip just above the tapered sides.
F3D file is available for anyone that wants to adjust this holder to their own hobby knife needs.
