I live in a really old house with uneven floors and there's nothing that annoys me more than seeing my tables and cabinets leaning every which way… so I designed a simple two-part leveling system that can be customized to meet different situations.
The system consists of a socket that holds the furniture leg – in this case an L-shaped leg – and a leveling shim that sits in the socket.
For the best appearance, you'll want to print four sockets with the same parameters – one for each leg – and 1 or more shims of varying heights as required to raise each leg to level. E.g., I used two empty sockets, a third socket with an 8mm shim, and a fourth socket with a 10mm shim to level a table.
