Dustopper & Ridgid Vac Cart Parts

Update 12/2021

Added a mount for the Ridgid Vacuum tools. I also added the Fusion files in case you need to make adjustments for other tool and or pipe sizes.

Was looking for a portable dust collection system and ran across this idea from the John Builds It (https://youtu.be/WyBuRjO54NM) Youtube channel. Very nice design for a compact solution. Shortly after releasing the video however, Ridgid changed the design of the vacuum and John's solution for attaching the pvc uprights to the vacuums casters would no longer work. After trying a few of the suggestions in the comments and not having any success I whipped up a couple of adapters. I also made some clips to attach to one of the uprights to be able to wind the cord. A couple of special hose adapters and I'll be set.
