Lithophane

Create your own Lithophane ornament with no soldering or electronics skills required. 

This is the easiest lithophane design I have created, like it if you want me to design more freebies. Make it yourself if you love it (:

Step 1: Open Cura

Step 2: Drag .PNG Image into Cura

Step 3: Use the following settings:

• Height: 2.5mm
• Base: 0.5mm
• Width: 76.2mm

Step 4: Scale the Lith to 50% Size so it fits in the ornament holder

Step 5: Print Lithophane 

Lith Print Settings: 

Support: Everywhere

Infill: 100%

Layer Height: 0.2mm

Filament Color: WHITE

Step 6: Print My Special Christmas Lights Lithophane Holder

Print Settings: Print the Flat side down

Support: Everywhere

Infill: 100%

Layer Height: 0.2mm

Filament Color: Pick your color!

Step 7: Insert the Lith into the Holder I designed and then insert the White Christmas light into the hole. It should fit snug and not tight or loose. If you need to make the hole bigger insert your 3d printer pliers and slowly circle the hole to remove millimeters of material. It will fit snug and perfect. Also it may be a bit heavy and it is meant to sit on a branch of your tree as shown in the example picture that I have on the listing. Step 8: Turn on your tree and enjoy your one-of-a-kind ornament.
