Strybar Adapter for Busch Jäger light switches

I needed a solution for my light in my apartment. I already had smart wifi bulbs. The apartment is for rent so I needed something working but also simple reverseable.

That’s why I didnt want to hard wire the electricity.. (also because of security / insurance reasons) but the bulbs of course ned always electricity in order to be controlable remotely (e.g from my home assistant) But also i wanted the possibility to control the light by a “real switch” on the wall as usual.

I wanted to place them in the same place where the original switches are and also did not want to replace all’ switches with ”Smart” one, because the bulbs are already smart …. ^^

I stumbled across the Ikea remote controllers with zigbee.

Now these IKEA Strybar remote controllers are my “light switches” with this solution.

Unused toggle switches that control the same light can be covered with the covers.
