Grogu Phone Case - Huawei P-Smart 2019 - MULTICOLOR

My son has a Huawei P-Smart 2019 phone and I wanted to make him a phone case for it. We are all big fans of The Mandalorian so the choice was made on Grogu.

https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4074227 supplied the base case for the phone.

The rest is PrusaSlicer trickery.

There are 3 STL's involved here, the case, Grogu positive and Grogu negative.

What I've done is set up PrusaSlicer for multicolor printing with one tool. You need to put "M600" as the tool change G-Code for that to work.

The Grogu positive logo is scaled to 0.28mm height (my first layer height) and assigned extruder 2.

Grogu negative is used to get the honeycomb effect.

Just open the 3mf file in prusaslicer to see how this was achieved.

You only need to change the filament spool once.
