A small crystal light to add some lighting to a patio. The leds are controlled with IR remote to turn on, go to sleep, change color, and change animation style.
The screw holes are designed to work with heated threaded inserts
The led and arduino construction is using the Adafruit Techno Tiki torch build, just changed the exterior case
Please note the cage around the crystal enclosure is not included in this design. They are tiki torches I found at home depot with the torches removed.

v1.0
Sliced out the top of the crystal structure and created a mirrored bottom section. Added screw holes and receivers for heat thread inserts so parts can be screwed together.
Current Revision
Snap fit design
First attempt at a snap fit design. I have printed a successful pair but the male part required a bit of light sanding to prevent fitting too tightly. I may adjust the fit after a few more test prints.
Wish list updates
Add usb charge port
Add externally accessable on/off switch
Add supports for arduino innards so they don't slide around
Add optional hole in back for wires - Make on opposite half as drainage hole addition
I've tested the design on a few colors / styles of filaments to try and get the optimal levels of LED diffusion. Below is a ranking of the best diffusion to worst I've tested so far
Dockwell Glow in the dark blue - PLA - This filament is brittle and can be hard to get printing. But once its going it prints pretty well.
