After printing the threads should be chased with a 1/4"-18 NPT tap. About $10 from Amazon. The carbon steel versions will work fine as we are talking plastic. I use isopropyl alcohol for lubrication during chasing.
On assembly use a good plastic thread sealant. Vibra-Tite 481 works. DO NOT USE anything with PTFE in it or PTFE tape, it WILL LEAK!!!
I use this for various beverage serving purposes at up to 80psi. I find this manifold to be longer lasting than the common aluminum manifolds otherwise available.
