I was tired of trying to use a regular square or scrap wood as a production stop for my miter saw: they were either not tall enough or were always out of square. So I designed this production stop instead. It has a lip on the front that keeps it parallel to the work bench, a taller wall to make sure it will catch slightly warped lumber, and a hex clamping surface (hex chosen to minimize material usage while still providing stiffness).
Obviously a little more clamping pressure and/or 2 clamps would have been ideal for the demo there, but I think it gets the point across 😅.
Designed very manually in Tinkercad 🤣
Print vertically with the long side parallel to the X axis.
