My wife runs a cookie business and needed the gadget to hold her roller pin in place when not in use. She uses a “Joseph” brand roller pin (see picture) and I designed this roller pin holder to fit her pin.
There are two STL files; the side wall and the connector. The side walls have dovetail cutouts to fit 4 connectors which are 200 mm long (this was designed to be printed on a Mini+ using the diagonal dimension of the print plate). You will need to print two side walls and four connectors. The total print time for me was about 2.5 hours.
The dovetails have a tight tolerance. I printed mine with PETG on 0.2 Quality in Prusa Slicer, and although tight, they fit well together. To permanently bond the connectors with the walls I used super glue.
If you make one, please let me know how it worked out for you. Happy baking!
