40mm x 60mm platform for mounting objects to my Dovetail Mounting System, that matches with semioniy's hook that I remixed into one with wire clips and (obviously) a pair of dovetail receiver slots. https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5743724 https://www.thingiverse.com/semioniy
This allows devices such as cameras, LED lights, and other objects to be mounted in front of, behind, or above the top rail. The holes are 5mm, so they should accept M5 machine screws. Devices could be mounted using screws or zipties, or by attaching a larger platform to this base.
The dovetail pieces can be press-fit together with some effort. They can be swapped out with some difficulty.
A video showing how this all fits together, and fits on the M5, is available on YouTube.

~36 minute print time on an Ankermake M5, 9 grams of filament.
I'm printing them at 10% infill and 135F bed temp. This one was a VERY tricky print, so far it has come out right 33% of the time. Considering the options it opens up, I think it is worth the time it may take to print a good one.
Word of caution: these are EXPERIMENTAL, designed by someone new to both 3d design and 3d printing. If they fail, items could fall and be damaged, or damage your print, or even your 3d printer. USE AT YOUR OWN RISK.
