I use these sprinkler timers in my yard, but my toddler likes to spin the wheel and change settings on it. This prevents the wheel from turning, which limits the havoc that can be played by pressing the control buttons! Works like a charm. I use the standard duty model: a little dissuasion was enough to keep the little fingers away, and this one is very easy to remove when I want by pulling straight off the timer.

I also developed a "heavy duty" version that has a more secure clamp to output port #3 - it has a very nice snap fit when printed in PETG, and the clamp does not wiggle once attached, yet comes off with reasonable force.

I spent some time making a good fit between the lock ring and the timer wheel, and I was planning to make a zip-tie compatible version if there is an interest for it from people who have other Orbit timer models that do not have the same output port configuration. Only tested on model 56802, comments welcome!
