peter m’s face mask is so useable that I needed a box for carrying spare filters around in. There’s also a smaller compartment for a spare insert, adjusting clips, strap etc. The case and cap latch together, so it should be safe in a bag without spilling everything. Also included is a stencil for cutting out filters (embossed as such since some of my friends aren’t that smart, and you always forget what small unmarked pieces of plastic are actually for after a few months;-> For people with better memories, the STL file isn’t embossed.
The insert compartment is a tight fit so the actual insert stops any small clips falling out.
This works fine in PLA, but will probably last longer in PETG.
The whole lot takes about 6 & 3/4 hours to print using a 0.15mm layer; a single stencil is 20mins, the case 4 & 1/4 hours and the cap 2 hours if you print separately.
Layer height: 0.15
Infil: 15%
Shells: V 2, T 7, B 5
(I.e. Prusa Slicer defaults)
For speed over beauty I’d suggest a larger layer height.
