This model is based on the reinforced see-through vase mode container as seen in my last model. My goal this time is first is to push the boundary and determine how sloped and irregular shapes could be produced with the see-through effect, and to practice creating a parametric model so that it can be customized to the user’s machine and needs. As this was designed as part of the Christmas contest, the example models are Christmas themed (i.e. a Christmas tree container/decoration and a star-shaped ornament), but you could probably use this to create something more interesting.
There are 2 designs, a Starblock and a TreeBlock. The star block has its thick wall eventually taper to a single edge at the top, while the Treeblock seperates the inner and outer side, and allows the user to taper the outer side wall.

There are 3 ways to use this model as a container. One like a normal container, where the wall has 2 layers and storage is in the center. In this scenario, use the StarBlock, enable the bottom layer and disable the tip. You can then add a hole for the center shaft to insert the log.

The second is where the hollow of the wall is used as storage. In this scenario, make the InnerTip/Concave of the TreeBlock to be as small as possible and insert the shaft in the center. The walls of this version much weaker, as there is only a single layer of filament acting as the wall. However, it is easier to see through the container this way.

Finally, you could just use a single StarBlock/TreeBlock as a tray. Just disable the center hole.
For the Christmas Tree decoration, I have based the decoration on a simple decagon block, but it can be customized to have more points/star shaped. Note that for the starblock that , I've. This may or may not be acceptable, depending on the design. I have also disabled the bottom for .3mf model. It is not really relevant for smaller prints, but for larger prints you can either keep the bottom to serve as a container or remove it to use less filament. The shaft is sligtly smaller than the hole and the blocks can spin freely, you may want to use a different hole shape for different results


I have included a simple shaft model to act as a tree log, but you may want to design your own is you want different tiers.
For the star ornament, you can either have no loop and use it as a topper, or add a loop and use it as a hanging ornament. Do note that the max thickness of the loop is two layers. No idea why this is the case, but it should be strong enough to hang itself as long as you are careful. Thicker extrusion widths should help. You can also use the clip model to join 2 stars together, though I recommend to design your own clip based on the size of your star.

The .3mf files are all based on a layer height of 0.2 mm and extrusion width of 0.4mm on a Prusa Mini with a 0.4mm nozzle. I recommend you customise the model based on your printer settings.
